I began to mentor in August and mentored throughout the fall semester to earn my 40 hours of service and I was able to finish the project. Here is a detailed timeline of what I did while mentoring.

·         Week of August 16th- School started, I took her to get a treat to kick of the school year

·         Week of August 23rd- I took her to family night out activity to kick off school year

·         Week of August 30th- Met with student and discussed school and homework.

·         Week of September 6th- Helped student

·         Week of September 13th- Helped student

·         Week of September 20th- I took her to the family night out activity: food drive

·         Week of September 27th- She was out of town so we did not meet.

·         Week of October 4th- Helped student

·         Week of October 11th- Helped student

·         Week of October 18th- Helped student-carved pumpkins

·         Week of October 25th- Family night out Halloween party

·         Week of November 1st- Helped student

·         Week of November 8th- Helped student

·         Week of November 15th- Family night out Thanksgiving party

·         Week of November 22nd- I was out of town so we did not meet this week.

·         Week of November 29th- Helped student

·         Week of December 6th- Family night out Christmas party

·         

During the weeks of helping students I met with her for at least an hour and we just went over homework and I helped her with chores or whatever else she needed.
